Tania Bapuji
Tania Bapuji has worked with the IE Partners team for over 18 years.
Tania’s work focuses on ICT in education and has undertaken consultancy work in East Africa (Rwanda and Uganda), Uzbekistan and the Kyrgyz Republic on Information Technology development and was invited to attend three Asian Development Bank conferences on ICT in Education:
- International Conference on ICT in Basic Education in Uzbekistan in 2005
- Regional Central Asian Conference on ICT in Basic Education – Issyk Kul, Kyrgyzstan in Feb 2007
- Optimizing ICT for Education in Manila in 2007
As well as her consultancy work, Tania is also an editor and researcher on education policy and in 2005 she provided editorial support to the publication Education Reform in Uganda – 1997 to 2004. Reflections on Policy, Partnership, Strategy and Implementation published by DFID and in 2007 undertook research and editorial work on the World Bank publication Secondary Education in Africa at the Crossroads: Choices for Secondary Education and Training in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Tania has also undertaken research work on the ADB-funded RETA on ICT in Basic Education in Central Asia covering Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
