Armenia
Since 1996 IEP staff have undertaken numerous projects in Armenia, including the design and implementation of the first World Bank-supported educational reform project, which involved a highly successful textbook rental scheme and revolving fund and work with the National Curriculum Working Group to develop the new National Curriculum Framework (NCF). IEP has also led a team of subject specialists to provide training and on-going professional support in the development of new subject syllabuses for all compulsory and optional subjects from Grades 1-12. The syllabuses are designed to provide opportunities for the rapid development of ICT teaching and learning strategies and a swift transition from traditional classroom approaches to more student centred approaches.
